The Jacksonville Police Department will be testing June 2, 2018 for the position of police officer. If you are interested in a career with the Jacksonville Police Department please complete the form at the bottom of the page. We will mail out applications in late April to the address you provide. If your address changes after you submit the form please make sure you contact the department by phone (217-479-4630 ext. 2) or email (jpdadmin@jacksonvilleil.gov) with your new address.
The physical test and the written test will both be administered on June 2, 2018 at Illinois College. Applicants can expect the process to last from 8:00 AM to approximately 3:30 PM. A more detailed explanation of the process will be sent out with the application.
Registration Cards will no longer be accepted after 4:30 PM on May 18, 2018.
